After a two-year break, Sapientia University returned to Hungarian high school students from all over the country to answer their questions about the offered study programmes. During the information tour, which took place between November 14-18, 2022, the teams made up of Sapientia students gave given around 100 presentations.
"Live the best version of yourself, we'll provide the basis, the rest is up to you" - this is how the Sapientia University volunteer students encouraged Hungarian high school students to continue their studies, while they undertook the mission to present the educational offer of the Faculty of Economics, Socio-Human Sciences and Engineering in Miercurea Ciuc, the Faculty of Sciences and Arts in Cluj-Napoca, the Faculty of Technical and Human Sciences in Târgu Mureș, and the Study Centre in Sfântu Gheorghe, as well as the advantages of being a university student in Transylvania. The information tour was an opportunity for high school students to get information directly from Sapientia students about the study programmes offered by the university and about life as a student, or to ask questions about the admission criteria. During the meetings students shared their personal experiences, helping high school students to make the best choice for their future careers.
Four teams have activated near Miercurea Ciuc and Cluj-Napoca, and two teams in the Târgu Mureș area - in each team one student represented the three faculties of the university. The teams travelled from Brașov, via Gheorgheni and Miercurea Nirajului, to Sighetu Marmației and Arad, giving a broader overview of the institution.
Those who have not been visited by the university's students, can visit the university in March 2023, as Open Days will be organised every Friday. Another new feature of the tour is that all of the institution's locations have been made "discoverable" with 360-degree online virtual tours at www.sapientia.ro under About Us.
